After Simon Cowellrefused to talk about his engagement to Mezhgan Hussainy during an interview this week, new reports state that their relationship has finished and the make-up artist has already moved out of his house.

The X Factor boss popped the question to the American last year, but [uuid=007bb8d2-1f9c-4d5b-8d0e-b59e4af50c29]refused to say whether they were still engaged[/uuid] during an interview with The Howard Stern Show, admitting “I’m not sure”.

Now The Mirror has reported that Simon has moved Mezhgan into another of his Los Angeles homes, a £3.5m Hollywood Hills mansion. "It looks like history is repeating itself," a friend told the tabloid. "Some people have jokingly said that this other house is his girlfriend graveyard. It's almost as though the girls get sent there when the relationship has died.

"When Simon split up with Terri [Seymour] she moved into the hillside house for about 18 months before then moving to another pad which Simon is supposed to have paid for."

SiCo’s mother added to the confusion by admitting she hadn’t heard from her son’s partner in a long time. "I haven't seen Mezhgan for months,"his mum Julie said. "She's been in America all this time and I don't know if she's working or what. She has her make-up company and is very busy and I've been on holiday, but she hasn't rung me for weeks."

Meanwhile, Simon’s ITV show Red Or Black, the most expensive entertainment production in UK TV history, has bombed.

Ratings have been steadily falling since the show debuted last weekend, and last Thursday beaten by BBC’s Watchdog programme, which pulled in a million more viewers, and experts predict it is unlikely to get another series.
