Simon Cowell Planning British Birth For Baby
Report claims SiCo's first child will be born in the UK...
Simon Cowell is reportedly keen for his first child to be born in Britain, in order that he can be there for the birth.
The Sunday People claims that SiCo and girlfriend Lauren Silverman have decided on having the baby here in the UK as the February due date will coincide with the audition stages of Britain's Got Talent.
According to the paper, a source close to the talent show mogul said: "He is thrilled that the baby will be born in England. He and Lauren have taken a decision based on what is best for the baby and they've chosen the UK.
"Because Simon has to be in the UK for BGT at that time, it is the only option. He wants to be at Lauren's side when she gives birth and wants to be with his son after he's born."
The insider also claimed that the pair are now "looking carefully" at which hospital to choose.
Though he has yet to confirm rumours that he and Lauren are expecting a boy, SiCo told Tonight show host Jay Leno: "If it's a boy, I kind of hope he turns out like me as I was older, not when I was a child 'cos when I was a child I was very obnoxious."
Simon defended mum-to-be Lauren in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, insisting she is "not a gold-digger".
