Simon Cowell 'To Miss X Factor Musical Opening'

Baby's due date clashes with first night of West End stage show...

Simon Cowellwill reportedly miss the opening night of the musical based on The X Factor - because it clashes with his baby's due date.
The Mirror claims that the reality TV mogul is under strict orders from partner Lauren Silverman to attend the birth of their son on 28 February.
However the Harry Hill-penned stage show I Can't Sing: The X Factor Musical opens the evening before.
And the date clash has caused comic Harry a headache as well, the paper explains.
A source said: "The entire show is written and but one of the penultimate scenes, parodying Simon and Lauren's little arrival, cannot yet be penned. One whole song hangs around the name of the tot.
"There is also a strong chance that the baby's name is not known for the first few performances – which is a nightmare.
"Harry knows it needs to be topical. Simon being a dad cannot be glossed over – it's going to be a dinner-table talking point for months to come."
Nigel Harman plays SiCo in the stage show, which [uuid=42e65c96-ccf0-4687-a62b-5688ae7d595f]is being put on at the London Palladium[/uuid].
