Simon's Shows Snubbed By TV Baftas
Simon Cowell's Saturday night success could be on the wane...
Simon Cowell's year isn't getting any better.
As well as Britain's Got Talent and The Voice, and left 'embarrassed' by Tom Bower's tell-all biography, the TV mogul's shows have been snubbed by the TV Bafta Awards.
Neither Britain's Got Talent nor The X Factor are up for an award this year, the first time a Cowell show has been absent from the Best Entertainment category since 2007.
Although The X Factor was beaten by The Cube last year, the ITV talent show won the gong in both 2006 and 2009.
A source told The Sun: "This is a very big blow for Simon. The Baftas are the most prestigious awards in Britain and Britain's Got Talent and X Factor are two of the biggest shows on telly.
"It's also a blow for the new panel. If they're not going to win awards, they need to start winning ratings wars. Immediately."
Let's hope confirmed judge Gary Barlow can handle the pressure.
