Just when we thought love was blossoming like a particularly grand oak tree between our Single AF stars Marnie Simpson and Casey Johnson (thanks to their various Mexico antics), things look setto be brought back down to Earth with a bump in next week's episode after the singer makes a *bit* of a confession.

And sadly, it's not exactly a confession that makes our Geordie Shore smile from ear-to-ear. Quite the opposite, actually.

In this first look at the upcoming episode (airing at the new time of 11pm on Monday on MTV), we see Marnie and Casey chatting the day after the singer's surprise double date with Elliot Crawford, who has returned to join the singletons after FINALLY finding his passport.

With Casey, Elliot and John proper buzzin' about their upcoming trip to Milan, Marnie gives her not-so-excited thoughts, telling the boys: "I don't mean to put a downer on it, but the girls in Milan aren't that fit."

As the boys accuse our worldie of being 'jealous', Marnie admits away from the apartment: "The boys can obviously see right through my little game, but if I'm honest, I don't really want Casey going off snogging lovely Italian supermodels."

Talk then turns to what REALLY happened on Casey and Elliot's double date, with the boys getting quizzed on whether or not there was any snogging action.

Before anyone can properly reply though, Casey whisks Marnie off the balcony for a 'little chat', explaining away from the flat: "This is all getting a bit close for comfort here. I don't want Marnie finding out about the kiss from anyone except me (…) I'm gonna have to do something before this all comes out."

With Marnie proper confused about what's going on, Casey tells her: "Obviously I'm with Elliot last night, we go on a double date, and obviously Elliot suggests playing a game like chicken."

Explaining the rules of chicken, he continues: "It's when you have to go in for a kiss and the one who pulls out first, loses."

Clearly frustrated by what she's just heard, Geordie lass Marnie says away from the balcony: "So he's been playing little boy games with Elliot? Right."

Back on the balcony, Casey tries to explain himself further, telling Marnie: "So obviously like, I've had to kiss her, but it wasn't like - it was literally about two seconds.

"She tried sticking her tongue in my mouth, I pulled away. I don't want you to be like, p*ssed off with me though. I was thinking about you."

A raging Marnie replies: "Well, that's easy to say," before fuming away from the balcony: "How rude to say he was thinking about me. He obviously wasn't otherwise he wouldn't've had his tongue down her throat."

As Casey tells her he doesn't 'want (her) to be angry' and admitshe 'didn't think she'd be that bothered', Marnie says: "Well you're single, you can do what you want. That's the whole point, you're going on dates isn't it? So what can I really say?"

She adds: "I don't want to feel like a mug. Kissing me and then kissing girls, it just makes us feel a bit embarrassed."

Away from it all, Marnie brands Casey a 'd*ckhead', admitting: "This is just my luck. I supposeI have been holding back because I don't want to get hurt again, and I'm pleased I had me guard up because he's proved us right (sic). What a d*ckhead."

Eek.
