As told by the man himself and the people closest to him, the new documentary chronicles Skepta’s incredible rise, culminating in a year where he won the Mercury Prize andsold-out Alexandra Palace (check out our live review of that here).

'Skepta: Greatness Only'features interviews with Skepta, his sister (and Beats 1 host) Julie Adenuga, Pharrell, manager Grace Ladoja, and more.

“I feel like I’m the chosen one,” Skepta saysin the trailer. “But I chose myself.”

“When I finally got there, to where I thought was the top, I wasn’t doing what I was doing in the beginning. I was not happy. This was a straight nervous breakdown.”

Skepta goes on to say:“I’m free to be the top of myself. Not the game, not the industry, the top self. The top Skepta.”
