Snakehips' Debut Album Is Coming This Year...'Hopefully'

We chatted to the guys and MØ about their brand new collab 'Don't Leave' and more...

Having convinced the likes of ZAYN, Tinashe, Chance The Rapper and more to feature on their tracks, Brit duoSnakehips are surely due to drop their debut album this year right?

The 'All My Friends' hit makers, also known by actual human names James and Ollie, swung by MTV the other day along withour Danish faveMØ to chat about their brand new collab 'Don't Leave' so we took the chance to ask them about that much-anticipated LP...

"We're kind of working on it right now," Ollie said, "and we're supposed to be finishing it off by the end of February hopefully. So like, this year..hopefully…maybe!"

On why they got MØ involved on their latest single, the pair revealed that they said: "she's just sick, [with an] individual kind of voice. We knew when we had the track it was something that would really suit what we were doing."

And likewise it seems the 'Lean On' singer didn't need any convincing to work with the boys."I remember when I heard the first draft I was on tour and I was in my bunk and I heard it for the first time," MØ recalled."I was a little bit drunk I think and I was just like 'oh my god this is so good I have to be on this one!'"

'Snakehips &MØ'Don't Leave' is out now.'
