Snapchat Introduce Custom Stories Feature So You Can Collab With Friends
The way you document your nights out is about to get that little bit more major thanks to Snapchat's latest update, which will introduce a fancy new feature called Custom Stories.
Now, instead of just being able to contribute to your own Story or those Snapchat-wide Stories that you never ever seem to actually appear on despite how many times you contribute a snap, you'll be able to create a customised Story with a little help from your friends.
The big idea is that similar to a group chat, you'll be able to invite a bunch of people into a Story in advance. Then, as the night progresses, you can all add snaps from your different phones and they will all come together to form a mega story of your night out.
Sounds like a pretty neat way to avoid the annoying hungover morning after you all spend swapping the photos you took on WhatsApp, doesn't it?
These custom Stories will only last 24 hours unless people add new content, just like regular Stories. And while you can invite any of your friends, you will also be able to do a fancy geo-setting where you can also invite friends-of-friends within a certain geographic boundary.
So if you're having a house party, you can set it to let attendees contribute even if you aren't direct friends with them on Snapchat.
