Now Facebook Are Introducing Snapchat Style Selfie Filters Too
Following the release of Instagram Stories, Facebook are also integrating with a very similar set of features to those Snapchat are known for. Full story at mtv.co.uk
Another one of your favourite social media platforms is about to get quite the makeover, but the big changes coming to Facebook might just remind you of another platform and that's Snapchat.
After Instagram unleashed their new Stories update last week, it looks like Facebook is also hoping to compete with Snapchat and it comes via an update that could see the platform integrate selfie filters into the app.
While this is yet to be fully rolled out to users, Facebook are testing the update during the Olympics and when those open the camera on the app over in Rio and in Canada, they will now be presented with an option to add a range of interactive filters onto their pics and recordings.
The lenses are powered by MSQRD, an app that had a lot of interest at the beginning of the year and was immediately snapped up by Facebook.
At present, those with access can add a range of national flags to their faces in both photos and videos recorded directly through the Facebook camera function.

Looks pretty similar to Snapchat to us, but what do you reckon? Hoping this gets picked up and rolled out across the whole of Facebook or what?
