Snapchat's New Augmented Reality Feature Will Probably Remind You Of Pokémon Go
It's even better than face swap.
If you were wondering how Snapchat is going to stay ahead of the likes of Facebook and Instagram now that both platforms have Stories functionalities too, prepare yourself for their lastest feature: augmented reality.
Yep, Snapchat are staying ahead of the game with their new feature, which itself is probably going to remind you a little of Pokémon Go.
While there's no catching bulbasaurs, the fancy new lens uses similar augmented reality technology and allows you to add jazzy animations that move and react to what's going on in your snap.
Similar to stickers, you choose things like rainbows, flowers or clouds, pop them into your snap and can then watch their effects on your video.
The options of what you can add will change daily, much like the face filters we all know and love.
Pretty cool, huh?
