Australia Says No to Snoop!
The Dog father can't appear at the MTV Australia awards
Snoop Dogg has been denied entry to Australia and as such won't be able to appear at MTV Australia Video Music Awards this weekend as planned.
The rap superstar, who had to cancel UK tour-dates earlier this month after being denied access to Britain, has been met with a similar response from the Aussies after he failed a character test
According to Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews, Snoop failed the required character test and as such has been issued with a notice of intention to cancel his visa, which basically means he can't come in!
"The reality is in relation to this man, that he was given a warning the last time, he has a whole string of convictions," said Andrews. "He doesn't seem the sort of bloke we want in this country.
"This man has been a member of a Los Angeles gang - and is still associated with it apparently - that's been involved in murder, robberies and drug dealings in the LA area."
MTV Australia are yet to announce who will replace Snoop at this weekend's awards. Hopefully it won't be Rolf Harris
