Snoop Detained In Norway For Marijuana Possession
The Doggfather was hit with a $1,980.13 fine at the airport...
Snoop Dogg has reportedly been detained in Norway after he was found with marijuana in his possession.
According to TMZ, the Wet rapper was briefly held at Kjevik Airport in Kristiansand on Thursday (28th June), where custom officials discovered he was carrying eight grams of the drug.
The website claims that The Doggfather was given a fine, but he will not face any time behind bars because he had less than Norway's 15-gram maximum.
A insider told TMZ that Snoop fully co-operated with customs and paid the fine - thought to be $1,980.13 (£1,277) - on the spot.
Despite the incident, his planned performance at Norway's Hove Festival still went ahead last night (28th June).
Back in January, the Signs hitmaker was arrested in Texas after a drug-sniffing dog found marijuana on his tour bus - resulting in authorities handing Snoop a caution.
Dogg also hit the headlines this week for stating that he wants Cheryl Cole to play his wife in Coronation Street.
