Snoop Dogg Banned From Norway
Snoop Dogg has been banned from Norway for two years after being [uuid=81c29667-4e7c-4ac2-af4b-a8ea4843c53d]found in possession of marijuana[/uuid] while entering the country last month.
The Doggfather was briefly held at Kjevik Airport in June and is said to have been fined $1,980.13 (£1,277) by customs officials, who discovered he was carrying eight grams of the drug along with a substantial amount of cash.
Though he went on to perform at Norway's Hove Festival, the Drop It Like It's Hot rapper has now been barred from the country.
But according to the Daily Mail, the 40-year-old has "no immediate plans to appeal" and his legal rep in Norway, Holger Hagesaeter, told the paper that Snoop "can live with the decision".
Back in January, the US rap star was [uuid=43f41fba-6d18-484d-aaa9-9beafc7435bb]arrested in Texas[/uuid] after marijuana was found on his tour bus but was later released with a caution.
