Snoop Dogg Denies Assault

The Dogfather told jurors that he did not strike a fan who’s attempting to sue him…

Snoop D, O double G has told jurors in Santa Monica that he is innocent, not guilty of punching a fan with a knuckleduster microphone holder.

Richard Monroe Jnr claims that he was ‘left for dead’ after being beaten by Snoop’s security team in Seattle in 2005. Monroe is attempting to sue Snoop, real name Calvin Broadus, for $22 million.
Monroe claims that he was invited onto the stage by the rapper and then violently confronted by security after jumping on stage at a Snoop Dogg gig "I was getting punched, kicked, kicked, punched. It was brutal. I was really in shock. I couldn't believe it."
The MC in question says that he was not involved in the incident and added "The best way for the injuries not to have occurred was for him to stay in his seat and enjoy the show like the rest of the fans."
Security acting on behalf of Snoop claim that they simply reacted to what they believed to be an attack.
