Snoop Goes Solo
Tha Dogg reveals all to MTV about his new album and how hes doing it all on his own
Snoop Dogg has told MTV there will be no guest rappers of singers on his upcoming record.
The hip hop star said he was heading into the studio to work with Pharrell Williams on a record titled Ego Trippin.
"I'mma do the whole record, me by myself, said the LA rapper. I don't want no guest rappers, no singers, nothing. Just Snoop Dogg. I want you to feel me.
In his time Snoop has worked with a multitude of artists including Dr Dre, Nate Dogg, and Justin Timberlake
But he revealed Amy Winehouses Back To Black inspired him to do his seventh album alone: "[When I'm listening], I'm learning who she is (and) when you listen to James Brown, he did it by himself. Curtis Mayfield, by himself.
Itll certainly make a change for a hip hop artist to do an album without any guests. We bet hell still have some solid producers on the LP though!
