Snow Patrol Cancel US Tour
The boys get caught up in airport trauma...
This week's biggest chart climbers, Snow Patrol, were scheduled to play gigs in Seattle and Portland over the weekend but only two of their five members were able to make it to the US in time for the shows.
The problems came about after the terrorist alerts in airports last week.
The band have issued a statement on their website www.snowpatrol.com saying, We were flying from different cities, and while two did make it to the UScontinued delays and problems securing new flights have made it impossible for the three others to arrive in time for the concerts.
The band also issued an apology to their American supporters, Snow Patrol regrets any inconvenience or disappointment it has caused its fans.
As of yet there is no word on whether these dates will be rescheduled but Snow Patrol will playing Boston tomorrow and will return to the States in September for a full headlining tour beginning in Atlanta.
