Solange Knowles is reportedly engaged to boyfriend of five-years Alan Ferguson.

The singer was celebrating her 28th birthday on a luxury holiday with her 51-year-old beau, although according to reports a proposal occurred.

Beyonce’s younger sister posted a number of snaps on Instagram looking pretty happy, as she captioned one of them: "Today couldn't have been more perfect. I couldn't have smiled harder. Thank you for all of your lovely and wonderful wishes. They warmed my heart and I simply feel grateful for all of the love."

None of the pics show a sparkler on her left hand, although it is infact hidden in most pics.

Solange was previously married to Daniel Smith when she was just 17, with whom they have son Daniel Julez together.
