Sophie Kasaei’s new beau Jay Bigz, who she went public with in September, will be appearing on the new series of Geordie Shore, but there’s a slight problem…

The lass has revealed that it got real awks as her old flame Alex MacPherson is also going to be appearing on the show. Imagine.

Talking to the Daily Mail, Sophie touched on how Geordie Shore is such a huge part of her life and that it’d be strange to not include her new boyfriend, saying: "Yeah, he does [appear on the show]. Geordie Shore is my life, if I'm keeping something like I've got a boyfriend, viewers will be like: ‘Why aren't you showing him?’”

Sophie did confess that it’s harder for Jay now that he’s featured on the show, as more people recognise him. It wasn’t the only confession she made either, as the lass touched on how awkward it was filming alongside Alex - an old flame.

When asked about how it felt, she said: “Oh God, yeah, I'm not going to lie, of course it was. It would be for anyone!

“Of course, Alex was never a boyfriend or an ex, nothing like that, but he was someone I had a fling with in the house. But to be in a relationship and someone like that walk in... my head was just..."

“I think every girl can probably relate because we've all had boyfriends and been in a club, or somewhere, and bumped into someone we have either kissed or been with,” she added. “It's horrible, isn't it? Which in a way is good, it's real life, we have all been there!”

We certainly have.
