Soulja Boy Drops Chris Brown & 50 Cent Diss Track Just Weeks Before His Celebrity Boxing Match
“You know I'ma knock Chris Brown out when I see him.”
The track, called ‘Hit ‘Em With The Draco’, comes after Soulja Boy appeared to apologise last week, where he said that he’d like to make music with Chris Brown. But that apology seems to have gone flying out of the window now, because in this latest track, Soulja Boy opens with, “You know I’ma knock Chris Brown out when I see him.”
Soulja Boy also took aim at 50 Cent, who is backing Brown in the boxing match, saying, “Hey, 50 Cent, what you talking about / “You made all that money off Vitamin Water and then filed for bankruptcy”. 50 Cent is yet to respond, but don’t be surprised if he does in the next few days.
THIS BONKERS STORY DOES NOT END THERE
Soulja Boy is apparently being trained for the bout by the actual boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr, who didn't lose a single one of his 49 career fights.
If you’re Chris Brown, how do you match that? Or, even, how do you top being trained by Floyd Mayweather Jr?
Easily, it turns out. Mike Tyson, the scariest boxer of all time, is training Chris Brown for the fight.
Again, this bonkers story doesn’t end there.
Mike Tyson, one of the greatest boxers of all time, is now working on a diss track of his own, with this one aimed at Soulja Boy. Taking to Twitter, Tyson said that he had “dropped heat” in the studio.
The diss track, called ‘If You Show Up’, apparently features vocals from Chris Brown and has been produced by Damon Elliot (who has worked with Beyoncé, Missy Elliot and more).
Tyson posted a snippet of the diss track, along with a beautiful piece of artwork, on his Instagram. Listen below.
So when is this fight happening? Over the next few weeks, apparently, but not in America. Due to rules and regulations preventing such a fight taking place on US soil, Chris Brown and Soulja Boy will have to instead punch each other in the face in Dubai.
In a brief interview with TMZ, Soulja Boy said that he had been taking training very seriously indeed, saying that he’d given up weed so that he could focus on his breathing.
“I smoke a lot so I had to put down the weed,” he said.
Wait, how did this all start again?
Apparently the beef all started after Soulja Boy liked and left a comment below a picture on the profile of Chris Brown's ex, Karrueche Tran. A social media fight ensued between the pair and now we're at the stage where actual fists will be thrown and superstar blood potentially spilled.
