Spencer Matthews really was the winner of The Jump after scooping a huge jackpot from the bookies after he placed a bet on himself.

The Made In Chelsea star swished off the slopes from Channel 4’s winter sports reality contest with the trophy after beating Louis Smith in the final.

But it seems he also won a small fortune because he placed a bet on himself to win the show.

“Spencer was going nuts because he won £68,000 by betting on himself,” fellow contestant Amy Willerton revealed.

“He was going crazy and celebrating big,” she told the Daily Star on Sunday.

“He was paid twice – he got his appearance fee and then won another £68,000. He had a smile on his face all night when we partied afterwards,” she revealed.

It is believed Spencer placed £3,500 on himself to win the show – landing him the £68K as he took the trophy.
