Mel C: 'I Nearly Quit The Spice Girls'
And Victoria Beckham claims 'no one wanted to date Posh Spice'...
It might have been Geri Halliwell that famously left the Spice Girls, but former bandmate Mel B, Sporty Spice said: "She'd (Geri) left before but not publicly. I mean, I think a few of them had left, well, Melanie and Geri left a few times."
"I nearly got kicked out once as well, but that's another story."
Sporty, real name Melanie Chisolm, put Geri and Mel B's fighting down to the fact that they were "the closest of all the band", adding: "You know, they're absolutely in each other's pockets or they can fight like cat and dog."
Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham has revealed that she had trouble getting a date during her Spice Girls years.
Posh, who has been happily married to David Beckham for almost 14 years, claims she was largely unlucky in love during the band's hey-day.
In an interview for the documentary, she explained: "There was a stage where someone wrote once how every woman wanted to be one of us and every man wanted to date one of us.
"Not that anyone wanted to date me. I think everyone wanted to, sort of, like, just brush my hair."
Victoria - also revealed that she very much lives up to her Posh Spice moniker - added: "But everybody could relate to one of us. That's why it was so successful."
Spice Girls' Story: Viva Forever is scheduled to air on ITV1 on Christmas Eve at 8.30pm.
