Mel C 'Upset' If Spice Girls Don't Make Olympics Playlist

Singer says she's still hoping for girl band's Olympic selection...

Mel C has said that she would be ‘really upset’ if the Spice Girls were omitted from the official London 2012 Olympics ceremonies.
Earlier this week, a list of 86 songs to be played during the opening and closing ceremonies was leaked to the media.

Although it included a wide variety of tracks, including The Beatles, The Sex Pistols, there wasn’t a single Spice Girls number.
Speaking to The Mirror, Mel C said: "I don't know exactly where this list has come from, and obviously sometimes things come out that aren't quite right.
"But I'd be really upset if the Spice Girls weren't included in the Olympics, whether it be the opening or closing ceremonies or any other playlists, because I think we absolutely represented Britain in the '90s."
The 38-year-old added: "We literally flew the flag – and Geri even wore it – around the globe. We were proud to be British and to be successful internationally, and we were the last band probably to do that."
Meanwhile, Geri Halliwell is reportedly fuming with fellow Spice Girls star Mel B for [uuid=8cf7ff03-e3b3-4ca6-b51b-bcce23f20325]taking her place as a guest judge[/uuid] on The X Factor.
