Tom Daley Splash! Contestants Revealed

The celebrity contestants for Olympic medal-winning diver Tom Daley's reality TV show Splash! have been revealed.

Joey Essex from The Only Way Is Essex, Jennifer Metcalfe from Hollyoaks, Sugababes star Jade Ewen and model Caprice are among those taking part in the ITV programme.

Starting this weekend, the show has also enlisted Tina Malone from Shameless, Benidorm's Jake Canuso and comedians Dom Joly, Helen Lederer and Omid Djalili.

The line-up will be completed by Jenni Falconer, newswoman Charlotte Jackson, TV gardener Diarmuid Gavin, Changing Rooms designer Linda Barker, ski jumper Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards and boxer Anthony Ogogo.

Speaking in advance of the show, Daley said: "Once you're up there, there is no turning back. If you freak out, you freak out on live TV. You'll see lots of smacks and wallops.

"People think diving's easy because divers who've done it for a long time make it look like that - but it is very far from easy. It is a very psychological sport. Half the battle is getting over the fear factor."

The show starts at 7.15pm on Saturday on ITV1.
