Clean & Clear Use A Transgender Teen In A New Ad Campaign

Jazz Jennings Has Been Named One Of Time Magazine’s Most Influential Teens...

At age four, Jazz Jennings was one of the youngest people in history to be diagnosed with gender identity disorder. Now fourteen, she is one of the most recognisable faces of transgender activism, appearing with her family on various television shows to speak about growing up trans.

It has now been announced that Clean and Clear, one of the world’s leading skin care products, have hired Jazz to be one of the faces of their #SeeTheRealMe campaign. The push will see teens from all over the world talking about their coming of age experiences.

Jazz, who talks about her struggle growing up a trans teen, describes being called “it” by classmates. She has found the courage to be confident in who she is, and the promotional video is testament to her struggle. "The real me is happy and proud to be who I am," Jazz says in the video. "And I'm just having fun being one of the girls".

Named one of TIME magazine's 25 most influential teenagers of 2014, Jazz will soon be the star of her own reality series, 'All That Jazz. '
