This Video Of Twins Coming Out As Gay Will Restore Your Faith In Humanity
The Rhodes Brothers gave their dad a ring to tell him the news
The Rhodes Bros are Austin and Aaron, two nineteen-year-olds from the States, whose YouTube channel now has 111,968 subscribers. They post videos titled ‘10 Signs You’re Addicted To Your Phone’ and ‘5 Struggles Of Being A Teenager’.
They’ve been pretty candid about their lives on YouTube, sharing old photos, getting their mum to come and do a video with them (note the matching denim, adorable) and filming their birthday celebrations for fans.
But, it wasn’t until a couple of day ago that Austin and Aaron decided to share the one thing they hadn’t told fans about. By coming out to their Dad, and filming his phone reaction, the pair started 2015 by coming back to YouTube “as authentic as possible”.
Their dad replies in the most reassuring way. “You know I love you both, you know that’ll never change.” After the call ends, the chaps take a breather, presumably to debrief, and return to say how it feels like “10 million pounds” has been lifted from their shoulders.
Ending with a message of empowerment to “gay, bi, transgender or straight people who might be struggling with a different issue”, lets hope The Rhodes Bros have kickstarted 2015 as it means to go on.
