Star Trek Into Darkness: New Trailer Focused On Kirk

A new trailer has been released for the eagerly anticipated sci-fi sequel Star Trek Into Darkness.

Focusing on Chris Pine's Captain Kirk, the new promo clip is themed around his responsibility to the crew of the USS Enterprise - and features a dazzling array of action scenes.

Giving away more of the plot than previous clips, the new trailer suggests that Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise find themselves outgunned by Benedict Cumberbatch's villain John Harrison - who appears behind them in a much-larger spaceship.

Directed by JJ Abrams - the movie hits the big screen on 17 May.
