Benedict Cumberbatch villain appears in new stills from the upcoming sequel...
Two new images featuring Star Trek Into Darkness villain John Harrison have been unveiled.
Played by Benedict Cumberbatch, Harrison is set to wreak havoc for the crew of the Starship Enterprise, and the new pics show the villainous character holding sizeable weapons.
Comparing Harrison to the first movie's villain, Nero, director JJ Abrams told Digital Spy recently: "The beauty of Benedict's [John Harrison] is that he's completely rational. He's someone that you can have conversations with.
"You couldn't sit down and talk to Nero - he'd bite your head off!"
Cumberbatch has previously [uuid=d1f7f549-db9c-4d89-a1b0-b413b3928a35]described the character as "iconic and exciting".[/uuid]
Star Trek Into Darkness is released in the UK on 9 May.
