Benedict Cumberbatchhas hinted that he is in negotiations for a role in the forthcoming Star Wars Episode VII.
The British star worked with director JJ Abrams on the recent Star Trek Into Darkness - and it has been reported that he and the filmmaker could reunite on the new Star Wars movie.
But the 37-year-old actor was coy when grilled on the subject by Access Hollywood.
He said: "This is the simple truth. JJ and I have worked together before. I would love to work with him again.
"No offer has been made. That is that. And that is that!"
