Take That’s Gary Barlow Confirms Secret Star Wars Cameo

The force is with Take That.

Take That’s Gary Barlow will have a cameo in this year’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

This follows Rizzkle Kicks’ Jordan having a speaking role in Rogue One as one of the rebel fighters seen in the film’s final, explosive hour.

But what role does Barlow actually have in the film? Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine on Monday, Gary released a smidge of detail, saying, "I’m not a storm trooper, but I am in it.”

Considering how seriously Disney (and the Empire) takes secrecy, should Barlow, who clearly can’t keep his bloody lips shtum, be expecting a squad of storm troopers outside his house for spilling the beans?

“Now I’ve said that, I’ll probably be out,” the singer said.

"I think the Star Wars people are so strict about what information [is out there]. So me saying that, I’ve probably just done myself out of a role.”

In other news, the Rogue One cast revealed the secrets behind Darth Vader’s terrifying return. Find out more here.

Meanwhile, Star Wars gamers made a beautiful tribute to the late, great Carrie Fisher. Check it out here.
