Gary Oldman Confirms 'Star Wars 7' Talks
Robocop actor has revealed he is "cynical" about signing up to the movie...
The RoboCop actor has told Sky Movies that he is in talks to appear in JJ Abrams' forthcoming sequel, which is set to start production in the UK later on this year.
Oldman reveal: "They've called. I'm more cynical about it now. I'll believe it when I'm on the plane home.
"The deal isn't done, but yeah, they've inquired."
He went on poke fun at his past acting credentials, stating: "I mean Planet of the Apes, Harry Potter, Batman and Star Wars - bloody hell!"
The 55-year old almost became a part of the Star Wars flicks in 2005, when he was asked to voice General Grievous in Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
Oldman later turned down the part because the production was a non-SAG (Screen Actors Guild) production and he didn't want to be disloyal.
