Samuel L Jackson 'Still In Dark Over Star Wars Return'
Actor admits he hasn't heard if he will get to play Mace Windu again...
The actor, most famous for his role in Pulp Fiction, has been publicly lobbying for the chance to reprise his role as jedi Mace Windu in the forthcoming Star Wars Episdoe VII.
But despite bumping into director JJ Abrams at George Lucas' recent wedding, he confessed to The AP that he is still none the wiser.
He explained: "JJ was there, I was there. I was like [raises eyebrows] and he was like [shrug], and he just went about his business. I don't know what that means.
"Harrison [Ford] was there too, and he was like [shrug].
"I just think it would be cool to have some of us that people relate to as being part of the Star Wars franchise to give entre to the new characters that they're going to bring to whatever the new thing is. It kind of makes it an easier entrance."
Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hammil are all expected to reprise their iconic roles as Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker respectively in the new film.
We told you yesterday how LucasFilm has denied rumours that JJ Abrams is quitting as director.
