Star Wars Episode 7 Has A Name: The Force Awakens

May the force be with all of you…

Having just celebrated the end of filming, the Star Wars franchise has just announced the title of Episode VII. To be released on the 18th of December, the new film will be called “The Force Awakens”.

As titles go it’s a twist on a popular classic, which is pretty much synonymous with Star Wars as a whole. What’s exciting is the cast list, which will include the fabulous Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie, whose roles in 12 Years A Slave and Game of Thrones have respectively bolstered their popularity in the last couple of years.

It’s not been the plainest sailing for the most recent instalment, what with Harrison Ford, who will play Han Solo, breaking his leg on set. Perhaps he took some pre-filming advice a little too seriously?
