Star Wars: The Force Awakens Behind The Scenes Footage Will Make You Lose Your Mind
Glossy featurette unveiled at Comic-Con in San Diego...
The rest of Comic-Con 2015 has got a lot to live up to after Lucasfilm unleashed an incredible Star Wars: The Force Awakens video on the first day.
The lucky audience in San Diego not only got to see the lovingly made three-and-a-half minute behind-the-scenes featurette - but were also treated to a chat with director JJ Abrams and some of the stars of Episode VII.
And as you might have guessed it was veteran actor Harrison Ford who stole the show at the event, making his first public appearance since that plane crash earlier this year.
"I'm fine," the BBC reported him as saying. "I walked here so how bad can it be?"
Asked about slipping back into the role that made him a star, he said: "It should have felt ridiculous, it was 30 plus years ago, and I sort of grew up.
"Yet here I was. I will tell you that it felt great."
But despite the star guests, it's the BTS footage that has really got fans excited.
As well as showing stars old and new in costume, it also teases some of the special effects being used for the movie.
And it looks like Abrams is sticking to his word about going big on physical props and costumes as opposed to CGI effects - hinting that the movie's going to have ridiculously high production values.
Among the many snippets of chit-chat from the cast and crew there's one line that says it all.
"You don't get to build an X-Wing every day, or a Millennium Falcon," says one of the backroom boys.
"Every day I come to work smiling."
We can see why.
