Eclectic Leeds rockers Stateless wowed fans last night (July 18) at the Camden Barfly with a euphoric set for the launch of their debut album which was released this week.
Taking elements of, break beat, soul, electronica, hip-hop and rock they created a textured, melodic groove heavy sound that had the crowd screaming the roof down.
After pleasing sets from electro funkers Mr. Beasely and one man choir Jamie Woon- Stateless ripped into their first single Exit and then played their way through most of the album but also included a new song Junior and a clap along carnival drum solo.
Other set highlights were upcoming single Prism #1, the stomping This Language and fan favorite Bloodstream.
With fans such as DJ Shadow and Roots Manuva singing their praises it seems only a matter of time before Stateless become the band everyone is talking about.
Whiter Than Snow
Their debut album Stateless was released on Monday (July 16) and is available now.
