Nasty Gal Team Up With MTV Staying Alive Foundation For Safe Sex Clothing Line
*Adds entire collection to basket*
Now is probably a good time to apply for a credit card because Nasty Gal have just announced that they’ve teamed up with MTV Staying Alive Foundation in order to drop a truly badass clothing line that promotes safe sex and the importance of female pleasure.
The collection features on-point slogans such as ‘Love Sex, Love Yourself,’ ‘Wrap It Up’, and ‘My Pussy My Rules’ that are all pasted on a series of t-shirts and sweatshirts produced by the fashion retailer.
There’s no need to feel any guilt about splurging more money on clothes, because £4 from the sale of each item will go directly towards MTV Staying Alive – whose mission statement is all about working towards educating young people on HIV prevention and safe sex.
Both Nasty Gal and MTV want to encourage everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, to have fun and feel empowered when it comes to sex, and what better way to make a statement than to wear it loud and proud on your clothes?
Georgia Arnold, the Executive Director of MTV Staying Alive said: “We are so excited to be launching out first collaboration with Nasty Gal. Every t-shirt doesn’t just look fantastic, it’s designed with a theme in mind; to shatter common myths around sex, especially those relating to female pleasure.”
DJ’s Becca Dudley and Mercedes Benson modelled the collection, with both girls being brand ambassadors for the charity and huge fans of Nasty Gal. The latter said: “I think it’s important for girls to be taught about their sexual health so that they’re more in control of their body, and how they want to have sex.
“It’s not just about pleasing the guys, it’s not just about satisfying them, it’s about enjoying it and you know, having pleasure for yourself too. It’s not just a guy thing, it’s for both of us.”
The collection will be available to purchase at nastygal.com from 9th October 2018, with prices ranging from £16 for t-shirts and £20 for sweats.
Happy spending xoxo.
