Stephanie Davis has insisted that Jeremy McConnell is the father of her baby, saying that she's in the process of organising a paternity test to prove the point.

Even though Steph claims he's not been in touch since the birth of Caben-Albi, Jeremy has previously insisted he will "step up" if the baby does turn out to be his.

Which, according to Steph, is an absolute certainty.

Telling OK! Magazine that there's no doubt in her mind that that he's thefather, Steph shared: "My son is one hundred percent Jeremy’s baby – and a paternity test will prove it."

She continued: "That’s in the process of being arranged, but any tests that happen will be dealt with privately."

Adding that she's ready to face the challenge of being a single mother, she said: "I’ll cope on my own but it makes me sad that I can’t give Caben the happy family life I had.

She also pointed out Caben will never beshort of male figures, explaining:"Thankfully, he has my brothers around him and all the love he could ever need from our family."

As for the unusual name, Steph said she chose it as atributeto her grandfather: "It’s not actually a name I’d heard before, but it popped into my mind and stuck there.

She added: "I wanted to give him an unusual name but I also wanted him to be called Albi after my granddad, so I decided to combine the two."
