After being rule-breakers on Celebs Go Dating (by basically going against the whole idea of the show), Stephanie Pratt and Joey Essex have insisted that their romance is ‘perfect’, and that they’re not too bothered by any nay-sayers who might say otherwise.

For anyone who’s not quite as invested in #Jeph’s love story as us, the Made in Chelsea Queen and TOWIE King met on the E4 dating show, which was supposed to see them matched up with non-celebrities.

After initially denying any romance, the two eventually went on a date and later chose to take each other to the fancy final banquet.

Speaking to OK! Magazine as their relationship continues to blossom, Joey explained: “I know it's genuine, she knows it's genuine. I trust her, she trusts me. It works and it's perfect. I don't care what anyone says or thinks.”

He added: “It’s been a lot of pressure for us. We haven’t been able to walk down the street. We’ve been wearing massive hoodies!”

Steph also gushed about Joey being her ‘perfect guy’, admitting: “I’m so happy I don’t have to look for the perfect guy any more. He fell right into my hands...I think he’s the hottest guy in the world.”
