Stephen Bear Insists He Didn't Kill His Puppy After Being Labelled A 'Murderer'
Earlier this month, Ex On The Beach star Stephen Bear denied killing his nine-week-old puppy, Wolverine, after online trolls branded him a 'murderer'.
After continued online accusations, Bear has spoken out once again to say his vet told him there was nothing he could have done to save the pup.
Check out Stephen Bear and the most ruthless reality TV Villians ever...
Bear found Wolverine dead in his blanket just days after having his name tattooed onhis neck.
Since then, the Celebrity Big Brother star has received an onslaught of messages on social media accusing him of being liable for the death, and even branding him a 'murderer'.
Bear told OK! Magazine the vet confirmed hewas not to blame for Wolverine's passing: "Vets have since told me that an infection that Wolverine alreadyhad attacked his system and caused [his] death. [They have] reiterated that there was nothing that I could have done," he said.
He added: “People need to know the truth about what happened, and rethink the things they’ve had to say.”
People accused Bear of not taking proper care of the pup as he had allowed him to be outside just days before he had an operation to amputate his front leg.
Bear previously spoke out about the sad news, explaining what had happened: "I woke up, went downstairs and found my dog dead in its blanket, that’s what happened. No one sees me crying for two, three days afterward."
He added: "For some reason some of the comments… other people if they were to get these comments it would make you suicidal and it’s disgusting and people could self-harm.
"Luckily you’re doing it to me, and it doesn’t bother me, lucky you’re doing it to me, but other people aren’t as strong and they can do some damage, so think about their families and their friends because you’re sending horrible comments."
RIP Wolverine.
