Kelly Jones Pays Tribute To Stuart Cable

He talks about his old bandmate …

Kelly Jones has spoken about his former Stereophonics’ bandmate Stuart Cable, who died on Monday.
The drummer left the group in 2003 after falling out with the frontman, but they had since become friends again.
Speaking in Wales Jones said he had text Cable on his birthday three weeks ago. Kelly revealed:
I sent him a text last week to say happy birthday and he replied: "I never thought I'd make it to 40."
“I texted him back and I said ‘You will live to be 100 mate.’ I'm in total shock. I was going to see Stuart today for a pint and wish him happy birthday as well.”
Cable’s body was found as his home at 5.30am yesterday morning. Police have said there are no suspicious circumstances around the death.
Since leaving the Stereophonics he had hosted TV and radio shows and also started a new band called Killing For Company.
