Stevie Wonder Talks New Single & Live 8

He's also a big Jay -Z and Beyonce fan

Stevie Wonder was honoured to perform at Live 8 and loves a bit of Beyonce; just two things on his mind this afternoon.
Appearing at a press conference at London's Savoy Hotel, to mark the release of his new single 'Positivity', the living legend was on fine form, laughing and joking with the gathered press and occasionally breaking into song.
When asked which artists and bands he likes at the moment, Stevie had praise for a few. "I like Jay-Z," said Stevie, looking very cool in his big brown jacket and trademark braids. "There are quite a few rappers I like actually.
"And I like Beyonce, oh yeah I really like Beyonce! I also like Maroon 5 and the band Train. I think we lost a great talent in Luther Vandross."
On the subject of Live 8, at which Stevie gave a blistering live performance, he said it was a humbling experience. "Live 8 was an honour," he said. "To be part of a statement so significant was really special.
"When used in the right way, music can change the world."
Meanwhile, speaking about 'Positivity', the second single from his new album 'A Time To Love', Stevie praised his daughter Aisha Morris whose vocals feature on the track " as they did (in crying baby form) on 'Isn't She Lovely' not long after being born.
'Positivity' is released on November 28.
