Caroline Flack is the latest recruit to be revealed for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The popular former host of The Xtra Factor made her announcement as she appeared as a guest with Scott Mills (himself also competing) on Radio 1 this morning.

However her replacement on the ITV2 show Sarah-Jane Crawford had already accidentally let the cat out of the bag on Twitter.

SJ tweeted yesterday morning: "Lovely catching up with @carolineflack1 this AM, drinks soon twinkle toes? Now smash Strictly #girlpower."

She hurriedly deleted the tweet, but not before the news had spread like wildfire on the social networking site.

And now the Flackster has made it official.

She will be competing against Mills, Pixie Lott, Frankie Bridge, Judy Murray, Alison Hammond, Thom Evans, Simon Webbe, Mark Wright, Sunetra Sarker, Jake Wood and Steve Backshall.
