Colin Salmon Gets Strictly Come Dancing Boot
Actor becomes fourth star to leave after losing out to Richard Arnold…
The actor found himself in the bottom two alongside showbiz reporter Richard Arnold – but his performance in the dance-off wasn't strong enough to see him go through.
After watching both couples repeat their foxtrot, three judges decided to save Richard, sealing Colin’s fate.
Craig Revel Horwood said the pressure at this stage in the competition was "enormous", while Darcey Bussell admitted that she personally “wouldn't have either of these couples in the dance-off”.
Bruno Tonioli made it three by choosing to save Richard and Erin too.
On hearing the news Colin said: "I've got to say without question, this is one of the greatest shows I've ever been involved in.
"The quality of the competitors this year is seminal... Anybody who is out there who may have doubts, you have to understand that this is a discipline beyond anything we understand. So I accept with grace this decision.
"I'm going to miss Kristina… she is an amazing dancer. She's taught me many, many things."
Kristina [Rihanoff] added: "It's been an emotional experience, but I have enjoyed every single second working with this gentle giant."
Last week's show saw Sid Owen get the boot.
