Kimberley: 'Cheryl And Nicola Made Me Do Strictly'

Kimberley Walsh admits Girls Aloud pals persuaded her to do reality show...

Kimberley Walsh has revealed that it was her Cheryl Cole and Strictly Come Dancing.
The singer, who recently did a turn as Princess Fiona in Shrek in the West End, told The Sun: "I asked Cheryl and Nicola and they both basically said I had to do it. They really wanted me to do it and they are so excited.
"I'm most concerned about the live shows. If you could just do the dance training that would be fine but I'm a bit scared about the judging process."
Meanwhile - in other Strictly news - Olympic medal winner Louis Smith has hit out at rival show The X Factor, on which he auditioned back in 2009.
Outspoken Louis told the paper: "I'm glad to put that behind me, it was a disaster.
"X Factor was shambolic, it was awful. This is a proper show. I don't feel like a celebrity at all, so just to be invited to take part is fantastic."
But there was bad news on [uuid=acc3019a-8aff-4480-8b48-bb4f509b19a4]the Strictly set[/uuid] this week, with The Sun reporting that thieves sneaked into the show's "pamper room" and grabbed phones, cash and valuable make-up.
A source said: "People come in and out of that room all the time. Everyone knows each other so they leave valuables lying around.
"The room was full of purses, mobiles and make-up, all of which went. Whoever did it must know what a treasure trove it can be."
Ant McPartlin's wife Lisa Armstrong was among the victims at West London Television Centre.
