Nancy 'Getting Legal Over Alesha Strictly Comments'

Nancy Dell'Ollio demands public apology for judges' criticism on show

Did someone say diva?
Surely they can't have been referring to Nancy Dell'Olio's reported demand for a public apology from the Strictly Come Dancing judges for their criticism of her hopeless hoofing on the show?
Oh yes they can, because not only does the 50-year-old want Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli to eat humble pie over their "cruel and unkind" comments - but she's also making threats about talking to her lawyers.
Referring to Alesha's comment that she was "not very feminine", Nancy emailed the show's producers saying it "was degrading, humiliating and untrue and furthermore represented a very clear sexual innuendo".
And she continued: "In light of the distress I have been subjected to, in the first instance I would like a public apology from Miss Dixon.
"I am also taking legal advice about other options that are open to me, including pursuing this matter further if it is not dealt with to my satisfaction."
A spokesman at the BBC said: "We don’t believe Alesha’s comments expressed anything more than a light-hearted judgment on her steps."
She's also previously threatened legal action against Bruno over a joke that she looked drunk.
Touchy!
