Strictly Judge Craig Slams The X Factor
Craig Revel Horwood suggests public have 'lost faith' in ITV rival...
Strictly Come Dancing's Mr Nasty judge Craig Revel Horwood has stuck the boot into rival show The X Factor.
After Strictly's recent ratings triumphs over its rival and claims that The X Factor is fixed, Craig suggested in an interview that the public has lost faith in the show.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: "With the X Factor I think the audiences have lost faith and trust in it so that's the problem.
"Strictly is good, honest fun. We don't pull the wool over anyone's eyes.
"You want to be watching something real and dynamic and something you can trust and believe in. I think that is the biggest problem.
"I am absolutely loving it this year and I think the difference between this year and previous years is the quality of celebrity which we have and also the fact that it is a little bit more tongue-in-cheek."
Gary Barlow was this week reported to have agreed not to return to The X Factor after becoming disillusioned with it.
Meanwhile, the song and dance list has been revealed for this weekend's Strictly...
