Sandra Bullock To Get MTV Generation Award

Sandra Bullock is set to receive the ‘MTV Generation Award’ at our Movie Awards next week.

 

She’ll become the first woman to ever receive our version of a lifetime achievement prize on June 6 when the ceremony takes place in California.

 

Bullock gets the gong for her starring roles since her breakthrough in Speed in 1994. Earlier this year she won her first Oscar for Best Actress for appearing in The Blind Side.

 

The appearance will also be the star’s first public event since announcing her divorce and revealing that she has adopted a baby boy.

 

Also set for the MTV Movie Awards are Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry- who will both perform live.

 

Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Chris Rock, Robert Pattinson, Russell Brand, P Diddy, Adam Sandler, Zac Efron and Kristen Stewart will also be at the ceremony.

 

Comic Aziz Ansari will be the main presenter on the night.
