Cara Delevingne’s First Walk Of Fashion Month Was Well Worth Waiting For
Queen D got off of the front row and back on the runway for Chanel…
She’s become more accustomed to sitting front row at the likes of Stella McCartney and Burberry than actually walking the runway, but today Cara Delevingne teamed up with bestie Kendall Jenner, for a Chanel show walk that was well worth waiting for.
Showing off freshly gelled hair and extra thick, dark eyebrows, Queen D hit the catwalk at Brasserie Gabrielle – a fictional café which provided the setting for the show – in a classic Chanel boucle skirt suit. Quilted arms and side panels added cosiness for Autumn/Winter, while low-heeled monochrome pumps with a slingback finished the look.
For her second turn, Cara worked a sheer black pinafore-style dress with military button detailing, teamed with a heavy silver choker and bangles. The flirty little number proved the perfect outfit for propping up the Chanel bar, where Karl Lagerfeld’s muse Baptiste Giabiconi held court, serving up orange juice to models including Cara and Kendall as they finished their final walks.
Good to have you back, CaKe. That's Cara and Kendall's joint name, just FYI.
