Sugababes have reached number 1 with their new single About You Now narrowly outselling Shayne Wards effort.

The reality TV winner got to Number 2 with his double A side No You Hang Up/ If Thats OK.

Earlier reports had suggested he would claim the singles top spot but those feisty lasses- whove been together in various forms for 9 years- scored their sixth number 1.

In the album charts Foo Fighters new disc Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace knocked James Blunt off the top. Ian Brown went straight into number 4.
