Sugababes Star In Clinic

Amelle is suffering from exhaustion…

Sugababes member Amelle Berrabah has been admitted to a clinic to be treated for nervous exhaustion.

A statement on the band’s website said: “Unfortunately, Amelle has been forced to take an unexpected short break away from the pressures of work, following some professional medical advice earlier this week.”
Amelle will now spend the next three weeks at a private clinic recovering before Sugababes release their new single About A Girl on November 9.
The group recently changed their line up when Keisha Buchanan left and was replaced by solo singer Jade Ewen.
Since then the group have re-recorded their most recent album and shot the video for About A Girl.
Heidi said: “Both Amelle and I have been through a very traumatic time together in recent months and particularly over the past few weeks. Having the opportunity to move forward with Jade was a major factor in us both deciding to carry on as Sugababes…
“However, the months leading up to that decision certainly took their toll, especially on Amelle, and it seems like it’s now all caught up with her.”
Get well soon Amelle!
