Suge Knight Charged With Murder Over Hit-And-Run Death
Suge Knight has been charged with murder over a fatal hit-and-run incident in Los Angeles last week.
The former hip-hop mogul was arrested last week after turning himself in - and is set to face court today.
He is being formally charged with murder, attempted murder, hit-and-run resulting in death and hit-and-run resulting in injury.
His bail of $2m was revoked by a court commissioner yesterday after police said he had a violent past and could intimidate witnesses.
An LA Sheriff's Department spokesperson explained that Knight was considered a "possible flight risk, three-strike candidate (with) possible witness intimidation issues and criminal past".
The 49-year-old former Death Row Records head honcho will be charged in court in Compton under his real name, Marion Hugh Knight.
His friend, 55-year-old Terry Carter, was killed in the incident while Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51, was injured.
